Delray Beach sits on the Palm Beach County coast between Boynton Beach and Boca Raton. It was incorporated as the Town of Delray in 1911, and most of it has been on sewer for decades. The City and Boynton Beach jointly own the South Central Regional wastewater plant under a board that dates to 1974. That plant's service area runs from the ocean west to Military Trail. A septic tank inside the city limits is rare. West of Military Trail the map changes. West Delray is unincorporated Palm Beach County. Pockets of older homes out there carry Delray Beach addresses but still run on a tank and a drain field. We get calls from West Delray, and those tanks are why this page exists.
We are based in Pembroke Pines and run Palm Beach County by choice. Delray Beach is part of that route. Our heavy-duty vacuum truck does septic tank pumping for houses and businesses across the city and out west. That means full sludge and scum removal, then a pressure wash of the tank after every service. We check the tank's condition while it is open and tell you what we found. If sewage is backing up at midnight or the alarm will not stop, call our emergency septic pumping line. It is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, holidays included. You get a real arrival window on the phone. The same team handles your job from the first call through completion. We reach Boynton Beach on the same trip, and every call starts with a free quote.

Inside the city limits, not many. The South Central Regional plant's service area runs from the Atlantic Ocean west to Military Trail. The City of Delray Beach runs more than a hundred wastewater pump stations to move sewage to that plant. The older neighborhoods on the east side sit inside that area. Osceola Park lies south of downtown, Lake Ida sits beside its namesake lake, and Tropic Isle sits on deep-water canals. A septic tank on those streets is rare. Where one does turn up, it is often an older house the sewer main passed by. It still needs a pump-out every 3 to 5 years.
West of Military Trail, the county utility takes over where its lines reach. Kings Point and the Villages of Oriole use Delray Beach addresses but sit outside the city in West Delray. Past the Turnpike lies the Agricultural Reserve, more than 20,000 acres of farms and horse property. Pockets of older homes still run on a tank and a drain field. The county's own planning rules presume a septic system on any developed lot that has no sewer line at its boundary. Some streets out here stayed on septic until the lines reached them in the late 1990s. New tanks and drain field replacements out here are permitted by the Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County.
Delray Beach is flat and sandy. The Lake Worth Drainage District runs about 500 miles of canals across this part of the county. Its E-4 canal runs straight through Lake Ida. It links the West Palm Beach Canal to the Hillsboro Canal at Boca Raton. The lateral canals west of town drain storm water off the subdivisions. From May to October the water table climbs into the sand under your drain field. A soaked drain field cannot take more water, so the tank fills and backs up into the house. A pump-out before the rains start, and another after a big storm, keeps the system working.
Atlantic Avenue is downtown's main street, known for restaurants and nightlife. Restaurants line the avenue through downtown, up to the Intracoastal bridge. More kitchens sit in Pineapple Grove, just north of the avenue. A grease trap past its limit backs up the floor drains. Our grease trap cleaning pumps the trap, then scrapes and washes it, on your schedule. Condo buildings and plazas that sit below the sewer main use a lift station. We pump it out and clean the wet well. On job sites we pump and service portable toilets. When a West Delray home changes hands, our septic inspection puts the tank's condition in writing for both sides.

Outstanding service! They installed a new septic riser and lid on my septic tank, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. The crew arrived on time, was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain every step of the process. The installation was completed with exceptional workmanship, and they left my yard clean as if they had never been there.
This company is beyond amazing. I used another company to put in drain field that destroyed my underground pipes and my whole house was backed up with sewer issues a few weeks after they did the work. I found 24-7 Pump Out and they immediately agreed to come out on a Saturday. I live in Palm Beach Gardens, Palm Beach County and within a few hours they came out and fixed everything, plus did a complete blow out of the inside pipes for a minimal amount of money.
I recently hired 24-7 Pump Out for a septic tank inspection and pumping service, and I'm extremely impressed with their professionalism, timeliness, and quality. They responded quickly and offered a clear, fair estimate upfront. The crew arrived exactly when they said they would, fully equipped and ready to work.
Very professional septic company! They installed a riser on my septic tank so now access is simple and no more digging every time it needs service. Fair price, fast work and great communication!
Excellent service from start to finish. Fair pricing, honest advice and great communication. I'll definitely be using them again for future septic maintenance. Definitely recommend
Prompt, professional, and exceptionally knowledgeable. They showed up on time, explained everything thoroughly and got the job done with no mess! Highly recommend.
